If you're interested in experimenting with Joost for watching videos on your PC/Mac, then let me know if you need an invite. Joost provides its own channels/videos, and not user-uploaded content (e.g. Youtube)

However, I'm not too impressed with Joost so far:

• It slows my 1GB dual core PC down significantly
• It uses more bandwidth than Youtube
• When it starts, it takes over my entire screen, there's no sizing toolbar, and pressing 'escape' doesn't close/minimize it
  

  

• I have to press my 'start'/'windows' key to revive my taskbar and close Joost
• I was too annoyed after all this to really explore the channels
